Where the
money comes from
JHIAI operates under a transparent and sustainable revenue model that protects editorial independence at every stage of the publishing process.
Revenue is primarily generated through Article Processing Charges (APCs), which are payable only after manuscript acceptance and cover publication and processing costs. The journal may additionally receive limited income from advertising, grants, sponsorships, or donations — provided these align with the academic mission and do not compromise editorial integrity.
All editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of academic quality, originality, and scientific merit.

Ads that stay
in their lane
JHIAI permits only relevant and appropriate advertisements tied to academic or scholarly activities.
Advertising decisions are made independently by the editorial board or a designated committee and have no influence on editorial decision-making. All placement is evaluated against our standards for relevance, accuracy, and scholarly appropriateness.
Advertising is not linked to specific articles, editorial outcomes, or individual reader behavior.
